How is Full Spectrum CBD different from Isolate?

Isolate CBD is pure CBD, seperated from the rest of the plant. Full Spectrum CBD is a whole plant extract that contains many cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. This includes trace, non-intoxicating amounts of THC. We like to compare Full Spectrum to a salad and Isolate to a vegetable. While we prefer Full Spectrum products, we offer Isolates as an option to those who can have absolutely NO THC in their systems for any reason.

What is the “Entourage Effect?”

The term "Entourage Effect" refers to taking other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids with CBD.

What is Nano CBD?

Nano is a term used for CBD that has been reduced to a very small particle size.

How often and how much CBD should People take?

This is a great question for your doctor. Studies for adults are usually done with minimum doses starting at 25mg of CBD.

What do you recommend for better sleep?

We get this question A LOT. Unfortunately we cannot make medical claims and sleep falls into this category. There is a world of information on the internet about CBD and CBN studies. ProjectCBD.com is an excellent resource to learn more about this. Remember, it is the internet, so don't believe everything you read without credible sourcing.

Is it safe for pets?

We recommend talking to your veterinarian before giving your pet CBD. We personally give our pets CBD but did talk to our vets before doing so.

How old do I have to be to buy CBD?

While there is no established Federal minimum age to buy CBD products, we recommend only selling to Adults 18 yrs of age or older. For Full Spectrum products it varies by your State's rules. We recommend looking up your local laws for best practices or asking us for resources to find a current answer.

Is CBD legal in the United States?

Yes. Period. Even our Full Spectrum CBD is Federally legal because it is derived from Hemp and contains no more than the Federal limit of 0.3% THC. Some States do not allow CBD products that contain THC so reach out to us before purchasing anything if you are concerned. We sell luxuries and do not want you getting into trouble.

Can I fly/travel with my CBD?

You can travel with Twisted Spoke CBD Isolate products throughout all of the United States including territories like Guam, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands. We advise contacting us before International travel for the most current rules, or if you're traveling domestically with THC containing products.

Is the sale of CBD limited in my state?

Because of constantly changing laws we recommend that you contact us for current rules in your state. For instance the sale of Full Spectrum CBD is not allowed in certain states, and some don't allow the sale of CBN without a specific license.

Should I talk to my Doctor before taking CBD?

Informing your health care professional about any supplement you use is a good idea. Anyone being prescribed medication should consult their doctor about possible drug interactions. CBD has been shown in clinical studies to be safe at very high doses with minimal to no side effects. The most common interaction is with "grapefruit medications" that say do not eat grapefruit while taking them.

Will CBD make me fail a drug test?

Full Spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC. Over time that can cause a positive for THC in a drug test. We recommend using Isolate CBD if you are concerned about drug testing for employment. We recommend abstaining from any CBD use if you are Active Duty Military. If you are an athlete competing in a WADA sanctioned organization you CAN use Full Spectrum product in training but must only use Isolate CBD during the day of a competition. Ask your employer about their CBD use policies before ingesting any CBD products. Ratio Testing is becoming much more common and they may allow you to use Full Spectrum CBD with no headaches.
